Dynamic and static isogeometric analysis for laminated Timoshenko curved microbeams

چکیده

An effective computational approach that can simultaneously deal with several complexities in geometries, material properties, and size effects is of non-trivial yet important tasks for the design optimization device components micro- nano-electromechanical systems. This study devoted to development such an approach, which formed by integrating modified couple stress theory into isogeometric analysis framework. The proposed applied mechanical problems laminated Timoshenko curved microbeams, i.e., anazlying static bending, natural frequency transient response. developed method enables describe examine nontrivial features both geometrical properties microbeams. Geometries microbeams displacement approximation are accurately described non-uniform rational B-spline basis functions. For composites, coupling taken account use equivalent elastic modulus; deepness term properly included laminate stiffness parameters. In addition, small-scale captured theory. accuracy performance demonstrated through numerical examples, free vibration response considered under some factors as aspect ratios, lay-ups, boundary conditions dependence.
